New THOR: RAGNAROK Plot Details Reveal Odin And Loki’s Role In Hela’s Arrival On Asgard
Those who don’t know about the background Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!
This film will be produced by Kevin Feige joined by executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee. The screenplay hails from Stephany Folsom, Craig Kyle, Eric Pearson and Christopher Yost. Ragnarok executive producer Brad Winderbaum, Thor and Loki will be forced to work together to hunt down Odin in which All-Father has been doing more than they ever realized to keep Asgard safe from threats like the returning Hela.
Loki becomes the kind of Asgard, where everything is great where he’s happy with newfound status but his victory turns out to be bittersweet. Hela, being the most terrible one of all that he fails to realize the threats that were over the horizon which prompts villain joining the God of Thunder’s team of Revengers as they try to stop her.
Thor, having hate for Loki or viewing him as an enemy, Tom Hiddleston explains why that leaves him feeling out of sorts. “The opposite of love is not hatred but indifference. So the idea that Thor might be indifferent to Loki is troubling for him because that’s a defining feature of his character is, I don’t belong in the family; my brother doesn’t love me; I hate my brother. And the idea his brother’s like, yeah, whatever, it’s an interesting development.”
